There Was a Time

There was a time when:

A SERVER was a man in restaurants, NOTEBOOK was used to find in school bags. CLICK was done with fingers and REBOOT is just a call after a fight.

There was a time when:

SCAN was just mentioned for fast reading. MONITOR, we found only in class. SHORTCUT was considered as a risky path.

There was a time when:

An APPLICATION was for business.
A PROGRAM was a tv show.
A CURSOR was used for curse purpose.
A KEYBOARD was just a piano.

There was a time when:

Only MEG (megabyte) known to us was an actress. And BITE (byte) was linked to food.

There was time when:

MEMORY was related to age.
Term CD was used in Banks.
HACKING was limited to an axeman's job,
COMPRESS was something you did to the trash and UNZIPPED was an criminal offense.

There was a time when:

LOG ON was adding wood to the fire.
HARD DRIVE was linked to car driving on road.
MOUSE was only linked to jerry.
CUT was only linked to the knife and glue was the only thing which can do PASTE work.
We used to find the WEB at the house corner.
And a VIRUS was just the flu.

Let's try to bring those days back and rely more on pen and paper. Because the computer is not only killing time it somehow killing us also.
